Sta girando su internet da un po', rimpallata fra i vari blog, facebook, twitter, ecc., è la lista dei 100 libri che vanno assolutamente letti. Secondo chi? Secondo la BBC che afferma anche che la maggior parte delle persone ne ha letti al massimo sei su cento (e come fa a saperlo la BBC? viene da chiedersi...). Quindi, in tempi in cui la lista è sempre più di moda, tutti giù a far sfoggio della propria cultura. Io non sarò da meno... Ovviamente la lista è assurda, piena di lacune, evidentemente centrata sulla letteratura di lingua inglese, contiene libri che non so a chi sia venuto in mente di inserire fra i 100 must (Il cacciatore di aquiloni? Bridget Jones? Ma di che stiamo parlando) e non ne contiene altri che non so come si faccia a tralasciare (Kafka dov'è? Kundera dov'è? E la lista sarebbe lunga... Idea: fare una lista alternativa?). Comunque, con i miei 20 libri, sono abbastanza sopra la media. mi sarei seriamente preoccupata se non fosse stato così...
p.s. In rete girano altre liste, taroccate e però forse un po' meglio, come questa ad esempio. E se a qualcuno, leggendola e vedendovi inserito il Libro Cuore, non fosse venuto il dubbio che forse non si trattava della lista della BBC... no vabbè, meglio tacere...
